Refund Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains when a school can get a refund for Kami Academy. The school's order or agreement with KamiKode may set more specific terms; if it does, those terms prevail. Nothing here limits rights a customer has under Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659 of 2005.
1. Subscriptions
A subscription runs for the billing period on the school's invoice (for example a month, a term or an academic year). The school may cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Fees for a period that has started are not refunded, except as described below.
2. When we refund
- Billing errors: if you were charged twice or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference in full.
- Service not delivered: if Kami Academy is unavailable for a significant part of a paid period because of a fault on our side, we refund or credit the affected part of the fees.
- Termination by us: if we end a subscription without the school being at fault, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
3. Setup, data migration and training
Fees for onboarding work, such as setup, data migration and staff training, are refundable in full if the school cancels before that work starts. Once it has started, they are refunded only for any part we have not delivered.
4. How to request a refund
Email info@kamikode.com within 30 days of the charge, with the school's name, the invoice number and the reason. We answer within 7 business days.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid within 14 business days, by the original payment method where possible and in the currency of the invoice. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
